Zoo Hoops!: A Fast-Paced Tabletop Card Game Featuring Endangered Species
Teach kids about the strategy of basketball while educating them on the plight of rare, and endangered species.
Zoo Hoops! is just like a regular game of basketball but instead of you playing on the court, there are fun and cool animals playing the game for you in the form of a tabletop card game. Zoo Hoops! follows the same principles of regular basketball, with offensive and defensive cards, shot and score cards, as well as foul cards and so much more! (More game details are in the, "Game Play," section.)
We have a passion for basketball, endangered species, and education and we've come up with an awesome way to bring them all together in a fun, fast paced, strategic, card game that teaches children the fundamentals of basketball!
More About Zoo Hoops! Game Play There are Offensive Cards that allow you to Shoot for or score 2-points, 3-points or obtain the ultimate score, a Pig Slam!
You can dribble and even steal the ball, which determines who has possession and who can shoot or score.
A player can use Defensive Cards to help block against shot cards. And there's no animal on the planet that can defend against a Score Card or Pig Slam. Just not gonna happen!
Yes, there are Foul Cards that you don't wanna be near unless you have a way to get free and clear, quickly.
Blocked Shot and Rebound cards do the obvious and sometimes a bit more. And Jump Ball and 5-Second Clock cards are close relatives of the Steal Card. They keep things fun!
Finally, there is the rarest of all cards, and there is just one in each game: The Last ShotCard powered by an endangered animal that is ready to be discovered. This character can tie, win, or force the game into overtime; it's the one card everyone hopes they get!
